Financial Education and Coaching
LifeBridge offers numerous opportunities for participants to get the tools they need to transform their lives and find a supportive community to help them along the way. All of our opportunities also provide a free meal and childcare to our participants as well as the opportunity to shop in our market.
Financial Coaching
During one-on-one coaching sessions, the LifeBridge Financial Social Worker can provide resources and support to help participants reach their individual savings goals. There is an opportunity to earn up to $100 for attending the first three sessions on the topics of SMART Goal Setting, Emergency Savings, and Credit 101.
Money Matters Class
Money Matters is a multi-pronged financial empowerment program for families with young children. It helps families improve their financial situation through goal setting, financial education, credit building, and financial coaching. Participants who complete the program and save a total of $100 will receive a $300 match to be used to pay down debt or to save for education.
Workshops and Classes
We offer monthly workshops focusing on different topics of interest to our participants. Each workshop is led by an expert in their field and provides the opportunity to build skills, get important information, and ask questions. Topics covered in the past include: Home ownership, Credit 101, taxes, and more.
Teen Savings Class
We believe building financial skills are important for people of all ages. The Teen Savings Class offers middle and high school students the opportunity to learn about credit, entrepreneurship, budgeting, and more. At the end of the week participants earn a financial reward to start their own savings account and begin working toward their financial goals.
